When Cole was five, he jumped on his grandpa's bulldozer and helped his dad build a 1/5 mile banked dirt track on the family land to drive his first yard kart on. For hours he would drive circles. You could even hear him commentating his own race! After kicking up pounds of red dirt, his dad would spray him off with the garden hose.
At the age of six, Cole proclaimed, "I was born to race!" He began racing go-karts when he was seven and has remained extremely focused while gaining valuable experience in several series, including Bandoleros, Legends, Legacy and Late Model Super Trucks.
That same dirt track on the family land still gets a lot of use. Cole still does hours of circles in an old field truck he got when he was ten. The experience of thousands of miles has taught Cole valuable car control that he puts to use on Saturday night short tracks throughout the southeast.
